    2. Click on the "Tools" option at the top.
    3. Select "Accounts" from the list.
    4. When the window appears, click on the "Mail" tab at the top.
    5. Enter either "pop.toad.net" (primary) or "pop.toadmail.com" (secondary or domain) mail.radicus.net (radicus users).
    6. If your ToadNet Mail is not configured, go to Configuring Outlook Express for the first time.
    7. Select your ToadNet account and click "Properties" on the right.
    8. Under the "General" Tab:
      • Verify that your name and e-mail address are correct.
      • Confirm selection of the "Include this account when doing a full Send and Receive" option at the bottom.
      • Filling in the "Organization" or "Reply-to" boxes is not necessary.
    9. Under the "Servers" Tab:

      • Verify that your incoming mail server is a "POP3" server and that you have "pop.toad.net" (primary) or "pop.toadmail.com" (secondary or domain mailboxes) or mail.radicus.net (radicus users) in the "Incoming Mail" box.

      • Verify that you have "smtp.toad.net"(primary) or "smtp.toadmail.com" (secondary or domain) or mail.radicus.net (radicus users) in the "Outgoing Mail" box.

      • Under the "Incoming Mail Server,"verify that your username is correct. It is wise to retype in the password. You may also wish to select "Remember password."

      • Select "My Server Requires Authentication" then click Log on Using"  enter your username/"m" number  (be sure to include @toad.net or toadmail.com or radicus.net) and your password.

    10. Under the "Connection" Tab:

These options can be a little tricky since there are many ways to make a connection.

      • If you usually connect by double-clicking on you Internet Explorer icon from the desktop, your connection option should be set to "Connect using my Local Area Network [LAN]." Otherwise, Outlook Express will hang up the current connection and redial to check your mail.
      • If you connect by double-clicking the Outlook Express icon on your desktop, your connection option should be set to "Connect using my phone line" since you want the e-mail client to make the connection. In this case, make sure you select the connection for "ToadNet" in the "Dial-up Networking Connection" box below.

Nothing under the "Security" or "Advanced" tabs needs to be changed. You may click OK back through all the windows to get back to Outlook Express.

We suggest shutting down and restarting Outlook Express just to make sure that the setting are reloaded.
